29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(ii): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment. Working space required by this standard may not be used for storage: On or about September 23, 2025, employees were exposed to shock and burn hazards in that sufficient access and working space was not provided while working around the electrical panels as they were blocked and or inaccessible due to carts and equipment being stored in front of them. a. Back Storage - Maintenance Office Area; b. Inside Dock Area. UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 1910.303(g)(1)(ii), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1789673, CITATION 1, ITEM NUMBER 1 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS FINAL ORDER ON 03/20/2025, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 2105 E COOK STREET, SPRINGFIELD, IL 62703.
