29 CFR 1926.600(a)(3)(ii): Equipment was parked without the parking brake set: a) Worksite 2283 Grand Avenue, Baldwin, NY, 11510 - Employees were exposed to struck by hazards when unloading prefabricated wall panels from a flatbed truck using a GEHL DL1155H Telescopic Handler. The employee exited the cab and walked between the telehandler and the flatbed truck. The Telescopic handler had a malfunctioning parking brake causing the equipment to role forward, pinning the operator between the outrigger and the delivery truck; on or about 9/24/2025. Note: In addition to abatement certification, the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
