29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a) On or about October 3, 2025, and two days prior, the employer failed to implement and utilize machine specific procedures for the control of hazardous energy for the Continuous Cooker System (Haarslev Industries A/S, Disc Drier Type HM2564, Part no. 108-1286). Energy sources used for the machine include but are not limited to electric and thermal energy. Employees engaged in servicing and maintenance activities on the company's Continuous Cooker System (Haarslev Industries A/S, Disc Drier Type HM2564, Part no. 108-1286) were exposed to hazards created by unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy.

29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i):The employer did not provide training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program are understood by employees and that the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of the energy controls are acquired by employees: a) On or about October 3, 2025, and two days prior, the employer failed to provide adequate training to ensure that employees acquired the knowledge and skills necessary for the safe application, usage and removal of energy control devices during maintenance activities on the company's Continuous Cooker System (Haarslev Industries A/S, Disc Drier Type HM2564, Part no. 108-1286). Energy sources used for the machine include but are not limited to electric and thermal energy. Employees engaged in servicing and maintenance activities on the company's Continuous Cookery System (Haarslev Industries A/S, Disc Drier Type HM2564, Part no. 108-1286) were exposed to hazards created by unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy.
