29 CFR 1910.179(n)(3)(vi): The employer did not require that the operator avoid carrying loads over people: Employees engaged in welding activities at the wall building jig located in the Position Zero area inside the National Modular company building at Haven, Kansas were exposed to struck-by hazards in that the employee was allowed to weld under the moving loads not secured to the hoist. The employer did not require that the operator avoid carrying loads over people, while an employee was performing welding task directly under an unsecured load.
