29 CFR 1910.101(b): The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in CFR 1910.6: On or about October 13, 2025 at the worksite located in Building 112 at 2700 Industrial Parkway South, Marinette, Wisconsin; employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while devalving compressed gas cylinders. Employees were removing the valves of a LVS-55 and LVS-23 compressed gas Nitrogen cylinders by using a pipe and crescent wrench on the cylinders to remove the Liquid Vehicle Suppression System valve that had dangerous and/or unknown pressures contained in the cylinders in violation of Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, paragraph 3.4.9.
