29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. Examples of guarding methods are-barrier guards, two-hand tripping devices, electronic safety devices, etc.:  a) On or about October 15, 2026 and a time prior, at 4020 East 10th Court, Hialeah, FL 33013 in production area 3, employees operating the Delfin ESLA 400 Biscuit Depositing Machine (biscuit dispenser) were exposed to amputation hazards; in that, the employer did not ensure that the machine was guarded to prevent accidental contact with the point of operation,  ingoing nip points, and rotating parts.  b) On or about October 16, 2026 and a time prior,  at 4020 East 10th Court, Hialeah, FL 33013  in production area 1, employees operating the Hobart Mixer Model V1401 Serial No. 31-1178-485 were exposed to amputation hazards; in that, the employer did not ensure that the machine was guarded to prevent accidental contact with the point of operation.  c) On or about October 16, 2026 and a time prior, at 4020 East 10th Court, Hialeah, FL 33013 in production area 1, employees operating the Hobart Mixer Model V1401 Serial No. 31-1267-909 were exposed to amputation hazards; in that, the employer did not ensure that the machine was guarded to prevent accidental contact with the point of operation.  d) On or about October 16, 2026 and a time prior, at 4020 East 10th Court, Hialeah, FL 33013 in production area 2, employees operating the Hobart Mixer Model M-802 Serial No. 1492 were exposed to amputation hazards; in that, the employer did not ensure that the machine was guarded to prevent accidental contact with the point of operation.  e) On or about October 16, 2026 and a time prior, at 4020 East 10th Court, Hialeah, FL 33013  in production area 2, employees operating the Hobart Mixer which is located to the right of the Hobart Mixer Model M-802 Serial No. 1492 were exposed to amputation hazards; in that, the employer did not ensure that the machine was guarded to prevent accidental contact with the point of operation.  f) n or about October 16, 2026 and a time prior, at 4020 East 10th Court, Hialeah, FL 33013 in production area 3, employees operating the large Hobart Mixer located to the left of the sink were exposed to amputation hazards; in that, the employer did not ensure that the machine was guarded to prevent accidental contact with the point of operation.
