The guarding device shall be in conformity with any appropriate standards therefor, or, in the absence of applicable specific standards, shall be so designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of his body in the danger zone during the operating cycle.  On or about October 23,2025 , at an establishment located at 2915 Calumet Avenue, Manitowoc, WI , in the Packaging Department, employees conducting sausage de-clipping were exposed to struck-by hazards created by De-Clipping piston. The point of operation was not effectively guarded to prevent employee exposure to these hazards.
