Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards:  (a) On September 23, 2025, and times prior, at 810 ND-5, Mohall, North Dakota employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while in close proximity to a flexible draper platform/combine header that was being supported by an attachment mounted to a front end loader that did not secure the header against toppling.  Note: Among other methods, feasible and acceptable abatement methods to correct this hazard include but are not limited to:  1. Follow the recommendations of the Operators manual for the John Deere 740FD Flexible Draper Platform (better known as a combine header), OMHXE127840, Issue G8, Section 25, page 25-2 Attaching and Detaching and Section 75, Sevice, pages 75-1 and 75-2. Safety Stops.  2. Follow the recommendations of the Operators manual for the Deere 624K-II 4WD Loader, OMT387135X19 Issue B2, Safety - Operating Precautions section, page 1-3-7 for adding and operating attachments safely.
