29 CFR  1926.950(b)(6):Training goals. The training shall establish employee proficiency in the work practices required by this subpart and shall introduce the procedures necessary for compliance with this subpart.  a) On the site located at the corner of Mel Smith Road and Old Town Creek Road, Wauchula, FL: On or about 11/12/2025, the employer exposed an employee to electric shock hazards, in that, employees were not adequately trained on the recognition of electrical hazards before working near live wires.

29 CFR  1926.960(c)(1)(iii)(A):The employer did not ensure that no employee approached or took any conductive object closer to exposed energized parts than the employer's established minimum approach distance, unless: The employee is insulated from the energized part (rubber insulating gloves or rubber insulating gloves and sleeves worn in accordance with paragraph (c)(2) of this section constitutes insulation of the employee from the energized part upon which the employee is working provided that the employee has control of the part in a manner sufficient to prevent exposure to uninsulated portions of the employee's body),  a) On the site located at the corner of Mel Smith Road and Old Town Creek Road, Wauchula, FL: On or about 11/12/2025, the employer exposed an employee to electric shock hazards, in that, employees were pulling conductive wire that could contact a live wire without wearing rubber gloves.

When lines that employees are installing or removing can contact energized parts, the employer shall use the tension stringing method, barriers, or other equivalent measures to minimize the possibility that conductors and cables the employees are installing or removing will contact energized power lines or equipment.  a) On the site located at the corner of Mel Smith Road and Old Town Creek Road, Wauchula, FL: On or about 11/12/2025, the employer exposed an employee to electric shock hazards, in that, employees were pulling conductive wire that could contact a live wire without using the tension stringing method.
