29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11):Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Worksite was located at Sailors Quay Marina, 2405 Hooper Avenue, Brick Township, NJ 08723: Five workers were exposed to falls in excess of fourteen feet to ground as they were replacing a roof on an existing commercial property while not utilizing fall protection. Violation was observed on or about December 3, 2025. b) Worksite was located at Sailors Quay Marina, 2405 Hooper Avenue, Brick Township, NJ 08723: A worker was exposed to falls in excess of fourteen feet to ground as they were replacing a roof on an existing commercial property while not utilizing fall protection. The worker slipped on the icy roof and fell, sustaining injuries that required hospitalization. Violation was observed on or about December 3, 2025. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
