OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. a) New commercial construction located at 35 Lumpkin Campground Road, Dawsonville, GA 30534: On or about 12/03/2025, the employer exposed an employee to fall hazards of approximately 14-feet, 8-inches to the lower ground level, in that a employee was allowed to work from an elevated position standing on a sheet of plywood sheathing that measured 4 feet long by 8 feet wide that was resting on the forks of a JLG Skytrak rough terrain forklift truck.

29 CFR 1926.403(b)(1): Employer did not ensure that electrical equipment is free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) New commercial construction located on 35 Lumpkin Campground Road, Dawsonville, GA 30534: On or about 12/03/2025, the employer failed to inspect all electrical extension cords used to provide power to electric tools, in that an orange 25-ft. electrical cord was damaged and exposing the internal insulated energized wires. An inspection of these cords was not performed prior to the shift as these cords were not repaired or removed from service.
