29 CFR  1910.178(o)(1): Load(s) on powered industrial truck(s) were not stable or safely arranged:  a) Production Shop - On or about December 9, 2025, powered industrial trucks were used to move loads that were not stable or safely arranged.  The sit-down forklifts were used to lift the  chucks and material with the load suspended underneath the tines to load the chucks and material onto the Lathes.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

Forklifts, including the Nissan, Yale, and Toyota Sit Down Forklifts, were placed in service with conditions adversely affecting the safety of the vehicle, including the horns not functioning and malfunctioning lifting system on the Nissan sit down forklifts.
