29 CFR 1910.107(b)(5)(ii): Discarded filter pads and filter rolls were not immediately removed to a safe, well-detached location or placed in a water-filled metal container and disposed of at the close of the day's operation when not maintained completely in water. (a) On or about October 22, 2025, the employer did not ensure that discarded filter pads from the paint booth area were removed to a safe, well-detached location or placed in a water filled metal container when disposed of at the end of the day's operation. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(ii):Employee training did not include the physical and health hazards of the chemicals in the work area: (a) On or about October 22, 2025, the employer did not ensure that employees assigned to paint in Department 588 were trained on the physical hazards of chemicals in the work area including the combustion hazard of synthetic filter media coated in Red W.R. Air Dry Enamel paint. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation that abatement is complete must be included with your certification.
