29 CFR 1926.651(c)(2):A stairway, ladder, ramp or other safe means of egress was not located in trench excavations that were 4 feet (1.22m) or more in depth so as to require no more than 25 feet (7.62m) of lateral travel for employees: (a) 80 Rocherty Road, Lebanon, PA; roadway in front of the expo center - On or about December 11, 2025, two employees working in the 5 foot wide by between 4 feet 7 inches and 5 feet in depth, and approximately 30 feet in length without a ladder or ramp to exit the trench. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
