29 CFR  1910.133(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation:  a) In the vehicle detailing area at Crown Automotive Management, Inc. DBA Crown Acura, located at 18911 US Highway 19 North Clearwater, FL:  On or about December 16, 2025 the employer exposed employees to serious eye injuries in that the employer did not ensure that each employee used appropriate eye or face protection when using caustic liquid chemicals such as the following Ardex Products:  5223 Get Red-E Wheel Cleaner, 5222 Purple Rush, 8250 X-Edra, 6225 Acid Wire Wheel Cleaner, 6230 ATTACK, and 6312 X-Ferrous Iron Remover to clean and sanitize vehicles.

DBA Crown Acura, located at 18911 US Highway 19 North Clearwater, FL:  On or about December 16, 2025, the employer failed to provide suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes when employees were using corrosive chemicals exposing them to eye hazards.

DBA Crown Acura, located at 18911 US Highway 19 North Clearwater, FL:  On or about December 16, 2025 the employer exposed employees to respiratory hazards, in that the information in Appendix D to 29 CFR 1910.134 was not provided to employees that were voluntarily wearing half-face respirators while washing, cleaning, and detailing vehicles.

29 CFR  1910.134(c)(2)(ii):  The employer did not establish and implement those elements of a written program necessary to ensure that any employee using a respirator voluntarily was medically able to use that respirator, and that the respirator was cleaned, stored, and maintained so that its use does not present a health hazard to the user.  a) In the vehicle detailing area at Crown Automotive Management, Inc. DBA Crown Acura, located at 18911 US Highway 19 North Clearwater, FL:  On or about December 16, 2025 the employer exposed employees to respiratory hazards, in that employees voluntarily using elastomeric half-face  respirators were not medically screened or fit tested to be able to use them  prior to use.
