Employees were provided with safety glasses and nitrile gloves for performing the task of adding water into an acid battery of a forklift.

The employer did not ensure that an eyewash station for quick flushing of the eyes was provided within the immediate area for affected employees, thus exposing employees to an eye injury, on or about 1/6/2026.
