29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):The employer did not ensure that each affected employee use appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors or potentially injurious light radiation. On or about December 16, 2025, employees engaged in residential framing operations were exposed to eye injury hazards while operating pneumatic nail guns without eye protection. The employer did not ensure that employees that were installing framing material while utilizing pneumatic guns were using safety glasses. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: On or about December 16, 2025, Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 9 feet while engaged in residential construction activities. Fall protection was not being utilized while employees were engaged in framing activities. K.K. #1 Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1837934, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on September 10, 2025, with respect to a workplace located at 403 Warren Terrace., Hinsdale, IL 60521. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
