29 CFR  1910.36(d)(1): Employee(s) were not able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge:  a) 2201 Mt. Ephraim Ave, Camden, NJ - The employer did not ensure that the employees who work in the warehouse were able to open the Northwest side exit route door without any prior action such as removing a carabiner from the hasp, thus exposing employees to emergency egress hazards. This condition was observed on or about December 18, 2025.  b) 2201 Mt. Ephraim Ave, Camden, NJ - The employer did not ensure that the employees who work in the warehouse were able to open the Southwest side exit route door without any prior action such as removing a carabiner from the hasp, thus exposing employees to emergency egress hazards. This condition was observed on or about December 18, 2025.  NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR  1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes were not kept free and unobstructed.  Materials or equipment were placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route:  a) 2201 Mt. Ephraim Ave, Camden, NJ - Northwest exit door - The employer did not ensure that the exit route to the exit door was free from obstructions such as welding cables, barrels and work stands, thus exposing employees to emergency egress hazards. This condition was observed on or about December 18, 2025.  NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASE FILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR  1910.101(b): The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders shall be in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in Sec. 1910.6. Section 3.3.1 of the CGA Pamphlet P-1-1965 refers to storing cylinders in accordance with CGA and NFPA standards. The CGA Pamphlet P-1-1991 Section 3.7.4.1 states that "All compressed gas cylinders in service or in storage shall be secured to prevent from falling":  a) 2201 Mt. Ephraim Ave, Camden, NJ - The employer did not ensure that compressed gas cylinders in storage were secured from falling, thus exposing employees to fire/explosion hazards. This condition was noted on or about December 18, 2025.  NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASE FILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR  1910.253(b)(4)(iii): Oxygen cylinders in storage were not separated from fuel-gas cylinders or combustible materials (especially oil or grease), a minimum distance of 20 feet or by a noncombustible barrier at least 5 feet high having a fire-resistance rating of at least one half hour:  a) 2201 Mt. Ephraim Ave, Camden, NJ - Oxygen compressed gas cylinder was not stored at least 20 feet from acetylene (fuel gas) cylinders. The employer stored a 100 pound oxygen cylinder and two 50 pound acetylene cylinders within  approximately 3 feet from each other, thus exposing employees to fire/explosion hazards.  NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASE FILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.
