29 CFR 1926.451(b)(2):Except as provided in paragraphs (b)(2)(i) and (b)(2)(ii) of this section, each scaffold platform and/or walkway was not at least 18 inches (46 cm) wide: a) Worksite was located at 57 Bridgewaters Drive, Unit 23, Oceanport, NJ 07757: Two workers were exposed to fall hazards as they were doing fascia and siding work on an existing three-story townhouse approximately twenty four feet above ground level. The crew was performing the work while on an improvised ladder scaffold that had a platform that was only fourteen inches wide. Violation was observed on or about December 18, 2025 NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
