29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:   a). At the workplace, located at 307 McKean St, Auburndale, FL 33823; On or about January 7, 2026, the employer exposed employees to amputation and caught in-between hazards, in that the Jet Horizontal band saw,  STOCK NO 414468, was not adequately guarded while employees operated the machine.  b). At the workplace, located at 307 McKean St, Auburndale, FL 33823; On or about January 7, 2026, the employer exposed employees to amputation and caught in-between hazards, in that the Johnson Model J, Serial No.12899 band saw,  was not adequately guarded while employees operated the machine.  c).  At the workplace, located at 307 McKean St, Auburndale, FL 33823; On or about January 7, 2026, the employer exposed employees to amputation and caught in-between hazards, in that the Scotchman Hydraulic Ironworker , was not adequately guarded while employees operated the machine.  d). At the workplace, located at 307 McKean St, Auburndale, FL 33823; On or about January 7, 2026, the employer exposed employees  to struck-by and caught in-between hazards, in that the Clausing Corp Floor Drill Press, was not adequately guarded from rotating drill bits, flying chips or broken drill bits ,  while employees operated the machine.  e). At the workplace, located at 307 McKean St, Auburndale, FL 33823; On or about January 7, 2026, the employer exposed employees  to struck-by and caught in-between hazards, in that the horizontal milling machine that has no guarding.  d). At the workplace, located at 307 McKean St, Auburndale, FL 33823; On or about January 7, 2026, welding was conducted without safety barriers such as curtains or screens to cover the arc flash and where employees walked and worked in areas adjacent to the welding operations not wearing eye protection adequate for welding.
