29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about January 13, 2026, the employer failed to ensure that workers performing framing operations on a residential property located at 6901 Utica Avenue in Firestone, CO, were protected from a fall of approximately 10 feet by conventional fall protection (e.g.: lanyard with harness, anchor points, etc.) or other safety devices.
