29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) On or about January 13, 2026, at the Armrey Industries Inc. Workshop: The employer did not equip a 1985-Delta 10-inch Tilting Arbor Unisaw (table saw) model CS-4K-8, Part No. 422-04-651-0017 with a guard, causing the table saw blade to partially amputate an employee's finger while manually feeding a piece of wood. NOTE: Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), respectively.
