29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, safety net system, personal fall arrest system, warning line system, or a safety monitoring system. a-1000 William Allen Court, Hopewell NJ: On or about 01/15/26 company workers and the company worksite Foreman were exposed to fall hazards, a company worker was exposed to fall hazards of 31 feet 6 inches to the ground below, when walking and working from a commercial structure's low pitched roof without fall protection. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a- 1000 William Allen Court, Hopewell NJ: The company worksite Foreman and his workers were exposed to fall hazards of 31 feet 6 inches, when accessing to and egressing from a commercial structure's pitched roof using a portable, aluminum, extension ladder whose siderails did not extend at least three feet above the upper landing surface being accessed. Condition observed on or about 01/15/26.
