29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  a) 100 E. 23rd St, Long Beach, NJ: Employees were observed exposed to fall hazards of approximately twenty to thirty feet to the ground below. Two employees were working together to load materials and equipment onto a third?floor roof. Each employee, positioned on different levels, was working at the roof edge without the use of personal fall protection or any other form of fall prevention. A third employee was present on the second level but was not captured in the available camera footage.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
