29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located, and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: a) Worksite: 91-1 Colin Drive, Holbrook, New York 11741 - A fire extinguisher located by the air compressor in the warehouse was blocked by boxes of merchandise; on or about 1/16/26. b) Worksite: 91-1 Colin Drive, Holbrook, New York 11741 - A fire extinguisher located by the thermostat in the warehouse was blocked by three wooden pallets and mobile stairs; on or about 1/16/26. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
