29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(ii)(B):The energy control procedures did not clearly and specifically outline the steps for shutting down, isolating, blocking and securing machines or equipment to control hazardous energy. a) For the facility at 5910 Johns Road, Tampa, FL 33634, on or about 01/20/2026, the employer exposed employees to potential laceration/amputation hazards, in that, energy control procedures were general, did not reference the specific machinery at the facility and did not contain specific procedures for shutting down, isolating, blocking and securing machines that were present at the facility. Machinery present contained hazardous energy in the form of 220/480VAC electrical power and moving parts.

29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A):Authorized employee(s) did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control. a) For the facility at 5910 Johns Road, Tampa, FL 33634, on or about 01/20/2026, the employer exposed employees to potential laceration/amputation hazards, in that, authorized employees were not trained on the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control specific to the machines they worked on. Equipment present such as, but not limited to, DMG Mori CnC Machines contained hazardous energy in the form of 220/480VAC electrical power and moving parts.
