29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) At or near 9 Polito Ave., Lyndhurst NJ - Edge of Slab - By New Ductwork: Employees without any means of fall protection were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet, while engaged in ductwork installation at the edge of the slab, on or about 1/22/2026.
