29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1): Types of guarding. One or more methods of machine guarding shall be provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a)Ruffland Performance, LLC at 1800 Mindy Street Tea, SD 57064: On or about and at times prior to January 23, 2026: the employer did ensure that the front door / arm area to the oven on the Ferry Industries, Inc., Model: R S4-2600 Cart Cow, Serial: 10547 was guarded when door and arm systems are in operation. This condition exposed employees to crushing and struck-by hazards.  b)Ruffland Performance, LLC at 1800 Mindy Street Tea, SD 57064: On or about and at times prior to January 23, 2026: the employer did ensure that the back door /arm area to the oven on the Ferry Industries, Inc., Model: R S4-2600 Cart Cow, Serial: 10547 was guarded when door and arm systems are in operation. This condition exposed employees to crushing and struck-by hazards.  c)Ruffland Performance, LLC at 1800 Mindy Street Tea, SD 57064: On or about and at times prior to January 23, 2026: the employer did ensure that the front door / arm area to the oven on the Rotoline , CR 260, Machine: Carrousel, Model: CR 260, Serial Number: M 550 was guarded when door and arm systems are in operation. This condition exposed employees to crushing and struck-by hazards.  d)Ruffland Performance, LLC at 1800 Mindy Street Tea, SD 57064: On or about and at times prior to January 23, 2026: the employer did ensure that the back door / arm area to the oven on the Rotoline , CR 260, Machine: Carrousel, Model: CR 260, Serial Number: M 550 was guarded  when door and arm systems are in operation. This condition exposed employees to crushing and struck-by hazards.

29 CFR  1910.147(c)(1): The employer did not establish a program consisting of an energy control procedure, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performed any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment shall be isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative:  a)Ruffland Performance, LLC at 1800 Mindy Street Tea, SD 57064: On or about and at times prior to January 23, 2026, the employer did not establish a program consisting of an energy control procedures and employee training to ensure that before any employee performed any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, start up or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment would be isolated, and rendered inoperative.  This condition exposed employees to caught-in, crushing, electrical, and amputation hazards.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and maintain a written hazard communication program which at least described how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) of this section for labels and other forms of warning, material safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met, and which also included a hazardous chemicals list and methods used to inform employees of the hazards of non-routine tasks:   a)Ruffland Performance, LLC at 1800 Mindy Street Tea, SD 57064: On or about and at times prior to January 23, 2026, the employer did not develop or implement a written hazard communication program for employees exposed to hazardous chemicals such as but not limited to:  A320 All Purpose Cleaner 420 TraSys Mold Release Staticide General Purpose  Abatement Note:  The written hazard communication program will also include:   (1) A list of the hazardous chemicals known to be present using an identity that is referenced on the appropriate safety data sheet (the list may be compiled for the workplace as a whole or for individual work areas); and,  (2) Employee information and training to include the methods the employer will use to inform employees of the hazards of non-routine tasks.  (3) The location and availability of the written hazard communication program, including the required list(s) of hazardous chemicals, and safety data sheets required by this section; (4) Developed for employee exposures to hazardous chemicals such as but not limited to the following chemicals:  A320All Purpose Cleaner, 420 TraSys Mold Release, and Staticide General Purpose
