29 CFR  1910.1200(e)(1): Employers shall develop, implement, and maintain at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) of this section for labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met, and which also includes 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i)-(ii).  a.) On or about January 29, 2026, the employer did not ensure a written hazard communication program was developed for employees exposed to hazardous chemicals including, but not limited to Car Brite Omni Brite (corrosive, respiratory) and Car Brite West (corrosive, organ damage) while cleaning and detailing vehicles at the service center.

29 CFR  1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): Product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals, and which, in conjunction with the other information immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, will provide employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical.   a.) On or about January 29, 2026, the employer did not ensure spray bottles containing car detailing chemicals including, but not limited to Car Brite Omni Brite (corrosive, respiratory) and Car Brite West (corrosive, organ damage) used by employees detailing vehicles were properly labeled in that the containers had the product identifier, but did not contain words, pictures, symbols, or a combination thereof to provide general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals.

Employers shall have a safety data sheet in the workplace for each hazardous chemical which they use.  a.) On or about January 29, 2026, the employer did not ensure safety data sheets for chemicals including, but not limited to Car Brite Omni Brite (corrosive, respiratory) and Car Brite West (corrosive, organ damage) were available in the workplace for employees cleaning and detailing vehicles at the service center.
