29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems: a. At a temporary worksite located at 3371 North State Street in Bunnell, Florida: On February 5, 2026, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards ranging from 16 to 23-foot, in that fall protection was not utilized by employees while installed metal roofing materials. Quality Metal Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1726929, Citation Number 1, Item Number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on April 29, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 831 Alexandria Road SW, Jacksonville, AL 36265.
