29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladders were used for purposes other than the purposes for which they were designed: On or about February 6, 2026, the fly section of an extension ladder was removed from the base section and was used for access/egress to the roof of a residential building to perform construction work such as installation of siding, soffit and facia. A Caution sticker on the ladder stated: "This ladder section is not designed for separate use."
