29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Points of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employees from having any part of their body in the danger zones during operating cycles:   (a) Paint Department - Employees used a foot pedal to actuate the Whitney-Jensen mechanical press brake, model 247, serial number 946 5 67, to remove paint build up from paint hooks.  Employees hand-fed and removed each hook, and the point of operation had no guarding, exposing employees to the hazards of getting hands and fingers struck-by or caught-in the point of operation, on or about February 3, 2026.  Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
