29 CFR  1910.38(b): An emergency action plan was not in writing, kept in the workplace, and available to employees for review:  At a worksite located at 8100 Mineral Drive, Houston, MO, employees were exposed to fire hazards that include, but are not limited to, burns and smoke inhalation.  The employer exposed the employees to these hazards by failing to develop an emergency action plan that established employee roles, responsibilities and expectations during fire emergencies, nor did the employer provide training to the employees regarding actions they would be expected to take during such emergencies.

The employer exposed the employees to these hazards by allowing them to perform welding tasks without first performing a workplace hazard assessment to determine the hazards associated with the task and prevent them from causing employee injuries.

The employer exposed the employees to these hazards by allowing them to utilize respiratory protective equipment such as Half Facepiece Respirator Assemblies and 3M PAPR Respirators without first establishing and implementing a written respiratory protection program.

The employer exposed the employees to these hazards by allowing them to utilize chemicals such as various paints, lacquer thinners and primers, WD-40 and pressurized carbon dioxide, as well as other chemicals, without first developing and implementing a written hazard communication program for the handling of the chemicals.
