29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a- 143 Harbour Drive, Lakewood NJ: Workers and the company worksite Foreman were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 14 feet 9 inches to the ground surface below, when performing floor truss installation and other related activities at and near unprotected edges without fall protection.  Condition observed on or about 03/04/26.  b- 143 Harbour Drive, Lakewood NJ: Workers and the company worksite Foreman were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 9 feet to the concrete flooring below, when performing floor truss installation and other related activities at and near the unprotected edges of an interior stairway opening without fall protection.  Condition observed on or about 03/04/26.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR  1926.503(a)(2): The employer did not assure that each employee exposed to fall hazards was trained by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii)   a- 143 Harbour Harbour Drive, Lakewood NJ:   Workers and the company owner were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 14 feet 9 inches & in excess of 9 feet, when performing framing, floor truss movement and securing, and other related activities while at unprotected interior and exterior edges of a residential structure's second floor without fall protection.  The company workers had not received fall protection training as specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii).  Condition observed on or about 03/04/26.    NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
