They were exposed to fall hazards of approximately eight feet; on or about 9/16/25. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.304(d): Portable, power-driven circular saw(s) were not equipped with a guard above and below the base plate or shoe: a) Worksite, 4 Commonwealth Blvd. Massapequa, NY: Employee used a wood shim to disable (chock back) the retractable guard on a Makita Circular while cutting a 2"x4"; on or about 9/16/25. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
