29 CFR 1926.602(c)(1)(vi): Industrial truck(s) in use did not meet the applicable requirements of design, construction, stability, inspection, testing, maintenance, and operation, as defined in American National Standards Institute B56.1-1969, Safety Standards for Powered Industrial Trucks. Site - Employees at the site were using a JCB Loadall all-terrain forklift to obtain sheets of plywood which were located on the raised forks. Employees were working at, adjacent, and walking underneath the load and boom while the equipment was unattended. ANSI B56.1-1969 Section 603, paragraph E requires that the load engaging means of a powered industrial truck shall be fully lowered when left unattended.
