29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Job site, Schenley Park, Pittsburgh, PA: On or about March 19, 2026 during construction activities, the employer did not ensure appropriate fall protection systems or devices were in use along the edge of the Charles Anderson bridge deck, exposing employees to fall hazards of up to approximately 60 feet.
