29 CFR 1910.178(a)(4): Modifications and additions which affect capacity and safe operation of powered industrial truck were performed by the employer without the manufacturer's prior written approval: a. At the yard area, located at 4820 NW 13th Street, Gainesville, FL: On or about March 24, 2026, the employer exposed employees to crush hazards, in that employees were allowed to operate a forklift with a hitch attachment to lift and move trailers about the yard without the manufacturer's prior written approval. RideNow Powersports Gainesville was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.178(a)(4), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1829303, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on August 11, 2025, with respect to a workplace located at 4820 NW 13th Street, Gainesville, FL, 32609.
