OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that a "safe distance" exposure prevention program was not implemented and utilized exposing employees to amputation hazards.  a) On or about 03/19/2026, at the BG CELL area,  an effective "Safe Distance" Safeguarding Program was not fully implemented which included exposure prevention procedures, training and periodic inspection of the procedures to ensure that employees operating the Amada RG-100 press brake were doing so safely by maintaining a safe distance from the point of operation. An employee suffered a fingertip amputation when the part shifted placing their fingers within the point of operation.  ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
