29 CFR 1926.451(b)(5)(ii): The end of a platform greater than 10 feet in length extended over its support more than 18 inches and the platform was not designed and installed so that the cantilevered portion of the platform is able to support employees without tipping, or has guardrails which block employee access to the cantilevered end.  a) New residential construction, Lot 127 Sweet Red Cir., Braselton, GA: On or about March 30, 2026, the employer exposed employees to collapse/fall hazards, while working on a pump jack scaffold in that the cantilevered portion of the scaffold was not secured at the support poles with the chain provided to prevent from tipping.  Eusebio Sandoval Esparza was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451(b)(5)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1798536, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on March 5, 2025, with respect to a workplace located at Kongoni Court Lot 161, Cumming, GA.

29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2): Supported scaffold poles, legs, posts, frames, and uprights did not bear on base plates and mud sills or other adequate firm foundation:  a) New residential construction, Lot 127 Sweet Red Cir., Braselton, GA: On or about March 30, 2026, the employer exposed employees to collapse/fall hazards of approximately 13 feet, 6 inches to the lower level, in that no mud sills or base plates were provided to support scaffold poles while employees were engaged in siding installation activities using the pump jack scaffold system.  Eusebio Sandoval Esparza was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451(c)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1798536, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on March 5, 2025, with respect to a workplace located at Kongoni Court Lot 161, Cumming, GA.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vii): Each employee on a scaffold, not otherwise specified in paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (g)(1)(vi) of this section, more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above lower level was not protected from falls by the use of personal fall arrest systems or guardrail systems meeting the requirements of paragraph (g)(4) of this section.  a) New residential construction, Lot 127 Sweet Red Cir., Braselton, GA: On or about March 30, 2026, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 13 feet, 6 inches to the lower level, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees using a pump jack scaffold system engaged in siding installation activities.  Eusebio Sandoval Esparza was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451(g)(1)(vii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1798536, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on March 5, 2025, with respect to a workplace located at Kongoni Court Lot 161, Cumming, GA.
