29 CFR 1910.178(n)(7)(iii): On all grades the load and load engaging means shall be tilted back if applicable, and raised only as far as necessary to clear the road surface.  On or about March 30, 2026, at an establishment located at 5050 Wren Drive in Appleton, Wisconsin; the employer did not ensure that employees operating the Raymond RY 5600 order pickers kept the load engaging means raised only as high as necessary to clear the floor in the warehouse. Employees raise the load and operator's carriage while simultaneously driving forward and backward, exposing the employees to fall hazards onto and from the platform, and crushed-by hazards if the powered industrial vehicle were to tip over with the load elevated.
