29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Roofing activities on a structure located at 2594 Flat Shoals Road in Conyers, GA - On or about April 3, 2026, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 13.9 feet above the ground level in that, the employer failed to ensure that a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge was protected from falling by use of a fall protection system while employees engaged in roofing activities.
