29 CFR 1926.502(d): The employer used body belts as part of a personal fall arrest system: Note: The use of a body belt in a positioning device system is acceptable and is regulated under paragraph (e) of this section. Location: 57 Kim Terrace, STOUGHTON, MA 02072 On April 13, 2026 Employees were using body belt as a part of a personal fall arrest system while working on a roof. An employee that uses a body belt instead of a harness is exposed to hazards such as falling out of the belt to the ground below while being suspended and or serious internal injuries could occur from sudden stoppage and trauma to the torso.
