29 CFR 1910.145(f)(4) General tag criteria. All required tags shall meet the following criteria: On or about April 14, 2026, the employer failed to ensure the point of operation guarding on the exit/discharge end of a Metl Saw, Model Extrusion Saw 2 18-20 metal cutting saw conformed with the appropriate standards to prevent the operator from having any part of his body in the danger zone of the point of operation during the operating cycle of the saw blade. The extrusion saw's point of operation exit/discharge end barrier guard opening was large enough to permit the operator to reach his hand and arm through the barrier guard opening and contact the operating saw blade (point of operation) during the cutting cycle.
