Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a. Located at 207 Scotsgrove Drive, Pataskala, OH 43062: On or about April 21, 2026, employees performing framing work and setting trusses on a two-story residential construction project were not protected by equipment and/or systems from a fall hazard of approximately 18 feet. b. Located at 207 Scotsgrove Drive, Pataskala, OH 43062: On or about April 21, 2026, employees working on a two-story residential framing project were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 12 feet from unguarded or otherwise protected wall openings on the second story. Alan Rodriguez was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1686561, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on November 7, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 9020 Philmont Curve Drive, Blacklick, OH 43004.
