29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazards created by point of operation and rotating parts:   Employees engaged in cutting activities at the Grizzly 10" 5 HP Left Tilt Table Saw area of the Cutter Station were exposed to amputation hazards in that machine guarding was not utilized. The employer permitted employees to circumvent machine guarding at the table saw by removing the barrier guard on the running machine to cut the thick cardboard and to remove the last board piece. While doing this, an employee sustained serious injuries when their gloves became entangled and got caught in the blade. An employee was injured by coming into contact with a moving table saw blade while removing the table saw guard.
