29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) Jobsite: On or about April 22, 2026 an employee was working from an open sided 2nd floor of a residential home under construction and was not protected from falling approximately 15 feet to the ground. This employee fell and suffered a compound fracture of a leg.

29 CFR 1926.503(c)(3): When the employer has reason to believe that any affected employee who has already been trained does not have the understanding and skill required by paragraph (a) of this section, the employer shall retrain each such employee: (a) Jobsite: On or about April 20, 2026, an employee needed to be retrained in the proper use of fall protection when doing residential construction. The employee fell approximately 15 feet and broke his leg.
