29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s). Location: Job site; On or about 04/28/2026, Arlindo F Romeiro DBA Romeiro Roofing & Construction as a controlling employer, did not ensure that frequent and regular inspections of the job site were performed by a competent person. As a result, sub-contractor employees from WCS Construction Corp were exposed to hazardous conditions on the job site in the following instances: a) Employee was allowed to utilize DeWalt pneumatic nail gun without proper eye/face protection to protect against potential flying objects. b) Employees were allowed to be exposed to electric shock and/or electrocution hazards while performing roofing activities in the direct vicinity of energized electrical service lines to the residence. c) Employees were allowed to perform roofing work on the roof of a single-family residential home, approximately 7.5 to 8-feet above the ground below, without utilizing or tying off to any form of fall protection.
