29 CFR 1926.1153(c)(1): For each employee engaged in a task identified on Table 1, the employer shall fully and properly implement the engineering controls, work practices, and respiratory protection specified for the task on Table 1, unless the employer assesses and limits the exposure of the employee to respirable crystalline silica in accordance with paragraph (d) of this section. a) New construction located on Lot 200 at 174 Winding Ridge Trail, Jefferson, GA 30549, Cutting station: On or about 4/29/2026 the employer exposed employees to respiratory hazards due to silica exposure from cutting Hardie board siding, in that engineering controls, work practices, or respiratory protection as described in Table-1 were not adhered to while using a circular saw with no vacuum.
