29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(i): Each employee on a boatswains' chair, catenary scaffold, float scaffold, needle beam scaffold, or ladder jack scaffold shall be protected by a personal fall arrest system; On or about May 1, 2026, an employee was not protected from a fall while performing construction activities from a ladder jack scaffold, exposing the employee to a 16.5- foot fall. Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
